My name is Danka. I am 22 years old and I am Polish.I was born in Poznań (this is a quite big city on the west of Poland - if you want to know something about my family city click here). I have just (well at January 2002) graduated in physiotherapy - I really like, love this profession. I like helping people, talking to people, to meet interesting people... Now, I am studying at the University of Economics in Poznan and hope to be good manager. I am interested in many, many, many things.For example: I love music, I like playing and watching sport, I practice chess for about 15 years, I like crosswords and many many others (I have thousands ideas a minute :-) ).

When I have nothing to do I always try to have something to do. I hate to be bored.
First of all I love music. I like listening to the radio (no matter what I am doing, I am trying to have a small radio with me), I like to sing (but only for myself - I am to shy to sing for others - maybe you're gonna find samples of my voice on this website, but I don't know yet) speaking of singing - I am giving long concerts in my bathroom (poor my neighbours... :-) ).I love to dance (Actually to move with music.Yes, I can feel that I am stopping men' sights when I am moving in discotheque but I wouldn't call it "dancing". For me real dancers were: Patrick Swayze in "Dirty dancing" or John Travolta in "Saturday night fiver").
Second thing that I love is sport.I like practise sport.Especially I like to ride a bike, playing volleyball and swimming. I also like to watch sport.My favorite kinds of sports to watch are:
Football (but only European or World championships), my favorite teams are Italy and Brasil (I do really love latinos :-) ) and the most hadsome football players (in my opinion of course) are Ronaldo from Brasil and Nuno Gomez from Portugal (you see, I love Latinos :-) ).
Ski jumping.I like many of ski jumpers like: Adam Malysz (for talent and because he is very industrious), Tomasz Pochwala, Matti Hautamaeki (he is nice and cool guy, I guess), Veli-Matti Lindstroem (nice, young ski jumper), Andreas Goldberger (I can't understand why they didn't let him start in Winter Olympic Games at Salt Lake City ?). I like them but my favorite of favorites ski jumpers and men is
Martin Schmitt. Why do I love him so much (because naturally I don't like Geraman' sportsmen)? As far as I can see he is optymistic, he can glad even when he is losing and he can be nice to others even when he lost (not like Sven Hannavald which I don't like - I could write something stronger but it would be unkind) - he can congratulate rival, which has just beat him, without any bad envious or hateless. His congratulations are always like from friend to friend. And there is one thing which made him not only my favorite man, but big big idol and authority. It has happened about 4 years ago. During the flying-tournaments, russian, not well-known, ski jumper - Valery Kobylev badly fell down, so badly that he almost lost his life.After long surgery, the doctors did save his life but didn't give him a little chance to go back to sport or even to full health. He needed long, long rehabilitation and of course very lot of money (which he hadn't had).When he was in biggest needed Martin has helped him.Martin has financed very big part of Valery's therapy and thanks to Martin,Valery is comming back to ski jumping. Martin!!! You don't even know how I wish I could meet you, to talk to you, to see your jumps live.I know it's crazy and absolutely impossible, but it would be one of my biggest dreams come true.
Olympic Games as Winter as Summer. From polish olympic palyers I like the most: Robert Korzeniowski (walker, he got 2 olympic gold medals in Sydney and as far as I remember gold medal in Atlanta), Mateusz Kusznierewicz (sailor, he got olympic medal in Atlanta) and of course Adam Malysz (our great ski jumper, he got 2 medals in Salt Lake City, besides he is the winner of Cup of The World in season 2000/2001 and this season 2001/2002 too)
Next thing that I like is to learn. I know it can sound weird but it's true.My nowdays' subject to study by myself is how to create good and interesting website about me (how I am doing - Write your opinion to me).Lately I satrted to study Spanish by myself. Besides I am studying at the University of Economics
Also I like watching films.My favorites films are: "Don Juan de Marco","Spirit - stallion of cimmaron","Titanic"(with Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet), "Bodyguard"(with Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner), "Leon" (with Natalie Portman i Jean Reno), "Beethoven" (kind of comedy with Saint Bernard dog in main role), "Kevin home alone"(I really like both parts), "Mask" (I really like Jim Carey - he is great and very funy) and my favorites series are: "Dr Quinn"(with Jane Seymour and Joe Lando), "Touched by an angel", "Baywatch", "Early edition"(about a guy who is getting tommorow's newspaper)
Someone said: "you mustn't say your dreams to anyone, because they won't come true" but I am not superstitious. Besides I have such crazy and unreal dreams that only few could come true and I could write about my dreams long, long time - even internet space is too small to put on it all my dreams so I am gonna write only very few of my biggests of biggests dreams and my vainest dreams. I can share them into few groups:
music dreams:
-to play at least the smallest role in videoclip
-to meet Jon Bon Jovi and all his band, to talk to them, make some photos to sing with them.....and the same with Robbie Williams
-to record a song with Mark Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Westlife or Ronan Keating
sport's dreams
-to watch live tournaments in ski jumping where would be Martin Schmitt, Adam Malysz, Matti Hautameki, Veli-Matti Lindstroem, Andreas Goldberger, Tomasz Pochwala, Simon Ammann.....
-to meet Martin Schmitt personally, take from him some lessons in ski jumping....
-to watch live Olimpic Games
-to watch live Finals of Football European/World Championship
others crazy dreams
-to play at least the smallest role in a film

I like almost every kind of music. My friends ask me: "Danka, how it is that you love such different artists like for example Bryan Adams and Ricky Martin?". I don't know how to answer this question, I am who I am, I like what I like and nothing's gonna change it. All I can tell you - I love music with all my heart and all my soul.I couldn't live without music.
From Polish artists my favorites are: Kasia Kowalska (first of all),Anna Jantar (great polish artist from 70's, unfortunately she died in air crash in march 1980), Golec uOrkiestra (very great polish folk band), Brathanki (they are mixing pop and folk music - very cool),Lady Pank,Perfect and others 80's bands and really many many others...
From foreigners artists I like the most: Bryan Adams (first of all), Bon Jovi,Whitney Houston,Gypsy Kings, Nat King Cole, Robbie Williams, Lionel Richie, all artists from 60's, 70's and 80's (like: Los Lobos, The beatles, Abba, Scorpions,Boney M, Shania Twain,Elvis Presley.....), Cranberries, The Corrs and also Eros Ramazzotti, Mark Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado,Aqua,Sclub7,Atc....
